College Network Access

Merton College Precinct: All Student accommodation has facilities for network access. Rooms have a double Ethernet (RJ45) socket. Please note: ONLY  socket 'A' will be enabled on registration.
There are also ports in the College libraries.

75 Iffley Road: Flats have a single Ethernet (RJ45) socket (flats 5 & 6 have two sockets located in different areas).

Holywell Street/Jowett Walk: The following Student accommodation has facilities for network access. Holywell Street 1, 2, 3, 4/5, 6/7, 9, 10, 12, 18, 19, 58, 59 & 61/62, Blocks A, B and C & Holywell Cottage. Rooms have a single Ethernet (RJ45) socket.

Mansfield Road 1A: Rooms have a single Ethernet (RJ45) socket.

Manor Place: The following Student accommodation has facilities for network access. Manor Place 1, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 9, 10, 12, 16, 18 & 22.  Rooms have a single Ethernet (RJ45) socket.

Computer rooms

OWL Library
This computer room is situated on the lower ground floor of the Old Warden's Lodgings Library (OWL). Your 'late gate' key will admit you via the front entrance of the library during opening hours. During the night you may leave or enter via the side entrance to Logic Lane. You will also need your 'late gate' key to get into the room itself. This computer room has 5 PCs and is normally for use by undergraduates only, (Graduates are allowed to use the web/email computer and the PC with scanning and colour printing facilities).

MOB Library
This computer room has 2 PCs and is situated at the far end of Mob Quad Library. Your 'late gate' key will admit you via the front entrance of the library. The computer room is open during library hours only. This computer room is for use by both undergraduates and graduates.

Holywell Annex
This computer room has 3 PCs and is situated on the basement floor of block A3 at Holywell Buildings. Your 'late gate' key will admit you via any entrance to the block and also admit you into the room. This computer room is for use by graduates & 4th year undergraduate chemists only.
